Quality management

Metz quality assurance

ISO 9001 ISO 14001

At Metz, quality starts even before manufacturing. Before processing, the materials that are delivered are subjected to a thorough inspection and are checked for the parameters that are important in processing. Through the systematic monitoring of critical processes – e.g. through melt index and colour measurements – there are constant improvements in the production process, thus guaranteeing stability in procedures.

Metz supplies large-volume plastic components that meet highest quality standards. In order also to be able to offer you tailor-made products for your Asia markets, Metz has now had its production processes at the plastics technology plant in Zirndorf certified according to the CCC Mark. The CCC Mark (China Compulsory Certificate) is mandatory for the export of components to China. Products can only be imported into China and sold there after having successfully passed CCC certification and received confirmation of such. The raw materials and the design and manufacture of the components are all examined in the course of certification. The certificate is checked, documented and issued anew for each product, before being validated by Chinese auditors. For example, B-pillars for a major German car manufacturer are produced by Metz in accordance with this standard. For Metz plastics technology, the CCC Mark is further proof of the “Made in Germany” premium quality that the company has been producing for many years as a manufacturer of large-volume plastic components.  Each product undergoes complex tests and an intensive quality assurance check.

Apart from the CCC Mark, production processes have already been certified according to the DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and DIN EN ISO 14001:2004 standards for many years.
